about

created for the Nada Rosa "album in a month" challenge. all songs composed and recorded in january of 2022.

this project is greatly inspired by "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman and plays with themes regarding childhood magic and relinquishing the adult urge to have the answers to the universe. there is a disconnect between our experiences and the memories of those experiences, resulting in a conflicting perception of our own lives. this project is an attempt at releasing control and making magic happen through letting oneself simply experience the world's offerings rather than trying to understand or find validation through them.
